Zoom down the slopes in South Tyrol against the amazing backdrop of the Dolomites, now a UNESCO world natural heritage site. Children are abundantly catered for with ski courses, ski nursery schools and amusements.
The Plose mountain above Bressanone/Brixen boasts South Tyrol’s longest ski run called the ‘Trametsch’ measuring 9 km with an elevation drop of 4,600 ft/1,400 m. It offers challenges for skiers of all levels of ability. Less expert skiers who prefer to stick to the easy slopes are rewarded with superb views of the Bressanone valley basin and the Dolomites.
Numerous huts have children’s playgrounds while at the lower cable car terminal there is a children’s play park where the small guests can learn their first turns while having fun in the snow.
