The alpine lodge Geisleralm is situated in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park in the Villnösser Valley / Val di Funes, at an altitude of 1,996 meters above sea-level. Starting point: Zanser Alm parking lot
Route: From the Zanser Alm, on the forest road in the direction of “St. Magdalena-Dusleralm-Geisleralm”. After some meters you turn to the left along the trail no. 36 in the direction “Dusleralm-Geisleralm”. On the next fork left up through the forest to the Dusleralm. After a short walk on a road way you arrive to another forc and here you have to go straight on, throug the forest passing for the Geisler Alm. After a short climb up you reach the well-known Adolf-Munkel Trail. You stay on the right and reach first of all the the court of the Geisleralm.

Nature of the path: forest road
Walkable with buggies: If you should happen to be using a baby carriage, we suggest using the Forststrasse ("Forest Road"), which leads from the Zanser Alm to the Dusler Alm and Geisler Alm. When you come to the intersection at the Jägerhütte ("Hunters' Hut"), take a left to the Geisler Alm. Walking time: approx. 1.5 h.
