Hooray, it’s snowing! Time for snow adventures of a very special kind. We’ve collected some really cool tips for you.

At last, it’s here: the snow. And with it, winter adventure mode is officially on. Grab your warmest, waterproof winter outfit from the wardrobe and dive straight into snowy fun. We’ve put together some really cool ideas for you and your kids.

Animal track detectives
Sherlock Holmes would turn green with envy if he could watch you examining suspicious tracks in the snow. Who’s been here? A fox, a hare, a deer – or even the mysterious snow snail (all right, that one doesn’t really exist, but imagination is allowed). Turn into little detectives and go on an animal track hunt. Who can find the most tracks and work out who made them? Children will love exploring the snow like little nature researchers. And as a reward, there’s a hot chocolate waiting.

Snowshoe race
You don’t have any snowshoes? Perfect! You can simply make your own. Use twigs, cardboard, old table tennis bats, or whatever materials you have to hand. Once your fancy footwear is ready, it’s time to line up. On your marks, get set, go! Whoever reaches the finish line first wins.

Snowball boccia
Snowball fights are old news – now it’s time for snowball boccia. Find a good target. How about that tree trunk standing in the snow like a lost giant, just waiting to be hit? Then it’s all about aiming, throwing, and hitting the mark. The winner, of course, earns the honourable title of “Snowball King”.

Snow painting
Tobogganing? Of course – always great fun. But what if the snow suddenly turns into a giant canvas? Grab a few paintbrushes or spray bottles, some food colouring, and create your very own snow art gallery. Flower patterns, lettering, symmetrical shapes – there are no limits to your imagination. Don’t forget to take photos of your artworks, because they won’t last forever.
