The witching hour has struck

Special guided tour for kids at the Taufers Castle

Ever since children’s book author Ottfried Preußer wrote the “The Little Ghost”, children’s fascination with ghosts has grown. Just as endearing as the author’s little friendly ghost are the ghosts who are at work at the Taufers Castle every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 18 April 2019. Adults cannot see the haunted creatures, because only children between the ages of 6 and 12 are allowed to enter the Taufers Castle at the witching hour.

Children, disguised as little ghosts with lanterns in hand, rejoice about exploring the magnificent castle of Taufers at the witching hour. Accompanied by the good fairy, the courageous heroes meet gnomes and ghosts and listen to the many exciting stories and fairy tales. One thing is for sure: the kids will be telling stories about this witching hour and their experiences for a long time to come.
