Did you say mini-song? No, I said Minnesang!
A family hike on the Oswald von Wolkenstein trail
Who was Oswald von Wolkenstein? How did the knights and damsels live? And why are there nature parks?
There are many possibilities for hiking with children in South Tyrol. A very special theme hike is the Oswald von Wolkenstein trail at the bottom of the Sciliar/Schlern. Legendary figures, such as the well-known Sciliar/Schlern witches or wizards, will accompany you along the way and tell you interesting stories. Lots of fun and games await you!
At 15 stations you will learn many interesting facts about the South Tyrolean minstrel Oswald von Wolkenstein as well as thrilling legends. Stories about castles, knights, and damsels as well as a knights’ table, a knights’ sword, and many mystical animals that you find all along the way will cast a spell over you. The day will be rounded off by interesting facts about the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park which surrounds the trail. You should also go on a short trip to the adventure playground at the family hotel Bad Ratzes!
Have fun with Oswald von Wolkenstein!
