Creative fun with finger paints

Turn your body into a canvas!

Painting on paper is a lot of fun, but painting your skin is the ultimate hit in summer!

Sunshine, a flower, a tree … what else is there space to paint on a child’s back? A fun creative activity in summer is finger painting. Bring a little cheerful colour to your skin – and have a lot of fun while doing so, too! You don’t need to use artificial, mass-produced paints, but can make them easily yourself: Mix a little flour with cold water and add a dessertspoon of salt. To add colour to the paste, you can use beetroot juice, blueberry juice, the green stock from boiled spinach, turmeric, or carrot juice. Of course, if you want stronger colours, you can also use food colouring bought from organic stores. If the mixture is too runny once you’ve added the colouring, you can add a little extra flour until the paints reach a creamy consistency. We’ll give you even more tips for crafts and games when you spend your holidays here at our family hotels in Italy. Grab your paints, get set, go!
