Back to the Stone Age

ArcheoParc in Schnalstal/Val Senales

Follow in the footsteps of Ötzi at the ArcheoParc open-air museum and discover the secrets of our ancestors!

In the rustic Schnalstal/Val Senales, you’ll find a very special destination for families. At the ArcheoParc open-air museum in Unser Frau, you can immerse yourself in life in the Stone Age. Across the 5,000m2 of the museum, you can travel through time, be left open-mouthed as you explore the precisely reproduced models of houses, and get a view of the site where Ötzi was discovered. And best of all, there’s active fun for the whole family – of course, while making sure all the safety measures are complied with. Whether you’re doing archery, baking bread, or building a fire, you’ll get hands-on experience of the way our ancestors lived. There are numerous activities for your children to enjoy during this adventure through prehistoric times. The tour of the fascinating exhibits takes around an hour. But if you want to discover the entire site and take part in everything it has to offer, half a day will simply fly by.

So, with the ArcheoParc reopening its doors at Easter, why not combine your next holiday in our family hotel in Italy with a trip to this wonderful open-air museum?

We look forward to your visit!
