Skiing in Val Venosta – royal fun

Trafoi, where great ski adventures start

The name of Trafoi is connected to a great name: Gustav Thöni. It was exactly here in the small, quiet family ski area at the foot of the Ortler that the success story of the skiing legend took its course. Do it like the former world and Olympic champion did and perfect your skiing technique on one of the eight slopes in the Trafoi ski area. The lift will take you from the village centre, where the family hotel on the slope is located, directly to the ski area, where family friendliness, serenity and cosiness set the tone.

Sulden – the peak of skiing fun

Higher, further, faster – this is the motto of the Sulden glacier ski area. If you think that only ambitious skiers are right here, you are wrong. In the Yeti-Club ski kindergarten, the youngest athletes are made fit for the slopes by experienced ski instructors, while beginners can practice their perfect swing on the slopes at the valley station and on the sunny slope. All in all, 44 kilometrse of varied slopes and a fun park with halfpipe and boardercross await you in the ski area with snow-guarantee, which is open from the beginning of November until the beginning of May.

Just wonderful: the Schöneben-Haideralm ski area

The family-friendly Schöneben-Haideralm ski area is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful ski areas in South Tyrol. 15 different slopes, including the Höllental run with a heavenly view of King Ortler and Lake Reschen, and ultra-modern lifts ensure boundless skiing fun in the border triangle – without long waiting times. Both the ski and snowboard school and the ski kindergarten with children’s park and cushion slide are much sought after by the little ones. If you’re looking for adventures on a family holiday in South Tyrol, the snow park with fun slope is the perfect place for you.
