Bolzano & surroundings: Skiing in Obereggen and more

Rittner Horn: reach for the sun

While skiing on the Rittner Horn you can reach for the sun. With the first snowfall, the panoramic mountain in the heart of South Tyrol transforms into a unique ski area for families where everyone, from beginners to experts, feels right at home. The gentle, wide slopes with a total length of 13 kilometres are ideal for conquering the mountain world away from the hustle and bustle. Always in your sights: the grandiose 360-degree panorama. Adrenaline kicks are provided by the snow park at the middle station and the snowkite zone below the upper Rittner Horn, which enchants both young and old.

Reinswald: Fun lies in tranquility

About half an hour from the provincial capital Bolzano lies Reinswald, the tranquil ski area in the Val Sarentino/Sarntal. Here in the rural side valley you won’t get bored – from simple children’s hills to the technically demanding European Cup course with a gradient of 58 percent. You can explore a total of 11 slopes while on family holiday in South Tyrol and at the Sarntal Ski School not only the little ones learn how to ski down the slope safely and skilfully.

Ski holiday in Obereggen with Bruno and Yeti

In Obereggen, the peaceful ski area near Deutschnofen, you will be radiating almost like the sun. No wonder, 48 sunny kilometres of slopes await you here directly below the Latemar, which impress young and old alike. Your little ones are in good hands in Brunoland, in the Snow House, in the Miniclub for children from three years of age or in the Yeti Children’s Park for children from four years of age, while you explore the challenging black slopes, marvel at the magnificent panoramic view, or perfect your stopover at one of the numerous huts.

With a clear conscience: skiing in the Carezza-Karersee ski area

Skiing with a clear conscience? Yes, you can! In the climate-friendly Carezza-Karersee ski area, which has been officially recognised by the European Union as an "Alpine Climate Ski Area". In the realm of King Laurin, between the imposing peaks of the Dolomites, things really take off. This is ensured by the wide, sunny runs of all levels of difficulty, the snow park, three children’s areas, the fun slope, and of course lots of cosy huts that invite you to stop for a break. With all this on offer you should not forget one thing: to take a family photo in front of this dream scenery.
