Handicraft tip: Our family tree

Handicraft with Rudy, the woodworm

The homework is finished, the smartphone time has been completely exhausted, and the desire for another game of Ludo isn’t less annoying. Then we have a tip for you: a family tree. Woodworm Rudy, your companion for this year's unique Familix Nature Programme, will tell you how it works.

You need:
A thin wooden board (e.g. from the back of a closet)
A large piece of thin bark
A few branches
Coloured, pressed, dried leaves (alternative: painting and cutting out leaves)

Paint the wooden board with your favourite colour. Use a hot glue gun to glue the bark (trunk) and branches to the board, so that you get a beautiful tree at the end. Then glue the leaves to the branches with wood glue. Finally, you can stick the photos of your family on the leaves.
