Showshoe walk to the frozen waterfalls on the Fröschenbach stream

Starting in the village centre of Castelrotto/Kastelruth, take the walking trail to St. Valentin where an enchanting church sits on a gently sloping hill. At this point you can savour the superb views of the Sciliar/Schlern massif before continuing to Siusi/Seis and Bad Ratzes.

There are plenty of places along the route to call into for refreshments and a rest. The frozen waterfalls along the Frötschenbach stream near Bad Ratzes are especially impressive.
