Nativity crib collection in Bressanone/Brixen’s Diocesan Museum

Where better to get into the spirit of Christmas than in a museum displaying Tyrolean Nativity cribs from three centuries?

The precious figures on show and cribs large and small and made from the most varied materials. They portray the Christmas story in the Prince Bishop’s Palace, just a few steps from the atmospheric Bressanone Christmas market. The Diocesan Museum is also interesting and accommodates impressive paintings from various epochs.

The crib collection is open all day for 6 weeks during the Christmas period, then from March to October. Closed Mondays
